Hikvision is a Chinese multinational based in the city of Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang Province. Founded in 2001, the firm now has 30 subdivisions in China and 16 international branches in Europe, North America, and Asia. It is one of the world leaders in the industry. Since 2006, the brand’s products have been available for sale in France through eight retailers operating throughout the French territory, but in 2014 a subsidiary was established in Fontenay-sous-Bois. This site in particular contains offices and a showroom. In addition to hardware, Hikvision also provides software for CCTV system management, analysis and automation.
