French English translation for Brio

The wooden toy design company, Brio has chosen Atenao for its technical translations into English.

Brio was founded in 1884 by Ivar Bengtsson. Its aim is to stimulate the imagination of infants and children at each stage of their development. A century later, the company has its own museum, the BRIO Lekoseum. It welcomes children, to help them discover all of BRIO’s creations. Among the best known, are the wooden model trains and construction kits. The wooden dachshund and stacking clowns are also among the company’s most famous products. At first, BRIO’s creations were made exclusively of wood. Much space in the catalog is still dedicated to the material. Currently, the toys incorporate plastic and a part of the construction is outsourced to China. In 2015, Ravensburger, a family business specializing in children’s entertainment, announced the acquisition of BRIO.
